How did you first discover Curva, and what made you fall in love with the brand?
I discovered Curva thru a Facebook group page when they were looking for
ambassadors. I fell in love with the brand not just because of the product but also
because of their advocacy.
In what ways do you think Curva is revolutionizing the shapewear industry?
Curva did really uplift a lot of women thru their product and advocacy of body positivity and self-empowerment.
What message do you hope to convey through your partnership with Curva?
That even the most “payat” or petite women still gets insecure about their body because that’s how other people always sees them, and doesn’t instantly mean that we won’t need to wear a shapewear. That wearing Curva shape wear is acceptable for all body types.
What’s one common misconception about shapewear that you’d like to debunk?
I think one common misconception of wearing a shapewear is that we want others to see the type of body that we don’t really have.
How do you think body positivity influences mental health?
Body positivity really has a big impact on mental health as some people seek validity through other people’s eyes and what others will say about one’s physical image or look.
How do you ensure your advocacy for body positivity remains inclusive and diverse?
By conveying a message that all body types whether big, normal or, small should be accepted by the society
What’s your vision for the future of body positivity and shapewear?
My vision for the future of body positivity and shapewear is that we ourselves should start empowering/influencing our fellow women to be just comfortable with their own bodies and normalize every body type
